Kim has 30 years experience in a wide range of business critical positions. After earning his BS in Nuclear Engineering at NC State, he executed start up testing for nuclear power plants. He went on to
manage the design and provide operational support for the Brunswick Nuclear Plant. In the mid '90s, he moved from the nuclear industry to polymers and petrochemicals. While at Perigon Engineering, Kim made the transition from project management to business development professional. Drew Flood, who managed him there, recalls
that Kim was "a good engineer that became a
great salesman / business developer."
Kim went on to become Vice President of Marketing
for Chemtex International, a global engineering,
procurement and construction company
specializing in delivering technology-oriented
projects for the petrochemical, polymers,
fibers, energy, biofuel, and
environmental industries.
"Kim is excellent at finding the right talent to fit a need. He is very responsive and has incredible integrity. He has an excellent network and a good understanding of a company’s needs. No other recruiter was able to find a quality engineer as quickly as Kim did.
He goes above and beyond what
is expected. Kim is good at
what he does."
